Had Pudd'ns Individual Educational Program today. We talked over his goals that he met or did not meet for the year and set new ones for the fall. Then as we wrapped things up, Howard the principal has to bring up "bussing". I have ALWAYS drivin my little prince to and from school. It is my pleasure, it is my DUTY. Well, these nimrods (husband included) think it would be a good idea for him to at least ride the bus in the morning. Yes, I know it really is a good idea, we have to teach him independance, but mommy is NOT ready!!! As I shoot dirty looks at my mother in law, husband, case worker and pudd'ns teacher. I see Howard squirming from across the table and mumbling "I don't want to get in to the middle of this"....... Smart man.
Miss Kim says "well, you can always follow the bus". Don't think I won't! I shoot back. My mother in law rolls her eyes at me and I called her a pain in my ass (I said it with love!) All in all, everything went well. I know he'll like riding the bus, I'll pick him up from school and everything will be fine. What I am planning on doing is finding out the bus driver's name. Then I'm going to ask Coach (he's a retired cop) how I can check out the driver. Make sure he's a safe one and all. I know they do back ground check and finger print teacher's & staff. I don't know what they do for bus drivers.
Tomorrow it is back to reality and the work load. Steve starts his new job. I'd rather be on the beach, playing in the surf with my son and his dog.........

The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, you soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
When the bills got just too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you soldier,
You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Try never to forget, it is your Military Force,
not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the

has given us the freedom of speech. It is your
Military Force, not the protesters and demonstrators
that gave us the freedoms protest and demonstrate. It
is your Military Force, not the politicians that

Sunscreen is SUPPOSE to keep you from burning..........right?
Well I saw some sunscreen JUST for the face I thought I'd try. It had spf 30 and it was a name brand. My face is red and so is Steve's. Mind you, I spent 3 hours UNDER an umbrella AND I wore a hat. Steve had a hat on too, we are both red. Pudd'n is fine, of course. I put half a bottle of 45 on him every time we go out. He spent 3 1/2 hours in the water non stop, and when he was done, that poor kid was DONE. Babs came down to join us again, I have a feeling she's going to be pink too.
It was a great day, I lit a candle for those men & women who died fighting for our country and we got a little american flag on a stick to stick in the sand by our umbrella. Of course Aunt Selma had her flag out (as she does every day). What makes me sad is that we are the only house on the street that even flies one on a regular basis. It is a special day and no one else but us has one out.

A BLESSED MEMORIAL DAY TO YOU ALL........
Yes, I'm a day early. Well, by the time Sandy reads this, it will be memorial day for her! LOL. Not only should we remember our fallen heros, we should thank those who are still serving or are retired. It is because of their sacrifices that we have the freedom that we do.
So light a candle and say a prayer for those who have passed. If you know some one in the military, give them a call and tell them thank you. And don't forget to hug your loved ones, tell them how much they mean to you.

With FRIENDS like YOU, who needs enemies???
Last night after all the festivities at the beach were over, the carne asada consumed and many beer had been drunk. I was sitting on the couch watching t.v. with Dru, Bables and Athena. At one point Dru said "better bring speedy in for the night" (steve was putting pudd'n to bed). So with great effort and a lot of help from Dru & Bables, I get up off the couch. Not because I was so blind stinking drunk mind you, my body hurt from head to toe from playing in the surf that day. I begin to hobble to the door and Miss smarty pants Dru calls out "Sanctuary! Sancutary" ( we had just got done watching a comedian do a skit on the hunch back of Notre Dame). I flip her the bird and hobble out to the back yard. I can hear their cackeling laughter as I walk to the back of the house to get speedy out of the pool. When I get back in, Dru & Bables have the decorative couch pillows stuffed up the back of their shirts to make it look like they have hunch backs. I'm lucky I did not A) Drop the turtle and B) piss all over myself I was laughing so damn hard. Is this the thanks I get for my drunken tarot card readings I gave them after dinner? (By the way, MUCH thanks goes out to my awesome hubby for not only cooking dinner, he did the clean up too).
We had a great day on the beach. It got off to a shakey start when I found a USED Q-tip in my son's order of french fries. It looked like it was used to clean an item, not an ear. The manager treated me like I had done it myself. He gave me my money back and I left. I will not go to that B.K again. Our next stop was the grocery store to pick up many snacks and beer to wash them down with. Athena bought me a bottle of whiskey, I was pretty shaken up about the Q-tip insident. She said "I want you to be CALM, it is going to be a FUN day!". And off we went to Aunt Selma's. We set up camp on the beach and Pudd'n & the goat made a bee line for the ocean. I brought my cauldron to burn a few things to release some spells I did. Dru & Athena supplied my pyro technicks (sp?) with the inserts from the magazines they bought. Lili and her crew showed up a short time later and we spent the rest of the day catching up and drinking many beer. At one point I asked Lili's oldest son to go mix me a drink (he's 14), "what am I? Your slave?" he quipped, I told him "yes and to hop to it!". He laughed and brought us all our round of drinks. Damn! Can that kid mix a drink!! Then we proceeded to make Lili turn red, it appears her son found grandpa's porno stash at home. "No wonder he likes to go to his grandparents!" she cried. We spent a total of 5 hours on the beach. I got knocked around in the surf pretty good. My body hurts and I have a few scratches on my legs. It was great to watch C's son Je play with pudd'n. They were laughing and having a great time. I know photos were taken, of what, I can't tell you........not because I don't want to. I just can't remember! So we'll have to wait and see, Athena & Dru had the cameras.
It was a great day, spent with some great friends. Thanks girls!

THE HONEYMOON IS DEFINITLY OVER!
when the new owners took over the place where I work, I was hopeful. I did a tarot spread and the cards did not look too good. I still held out some optimism. Everything seems so grand.........at first.
The restaurant is a train wreak waiting to happen. The straw that broke my back was tonight. Vince informs me that he and I are now splitting table 3. Uh, can we say WHAT THE FUCK?!?
Soon after obtaining the joint, Vince informs me that he'll be taking a few tables. Two off my station and one off of Marco's. But he's giving me two tables on the patio. Um, ok. Now he wants to poach another table? I don't think so slappy!!! We have been too slow to be giving up any thing. The two tables I have on the patio are never sat.
The offer Steve's cousin gave me is looking pretty damn good. I hope I hear from him this weekend. I'm tired of this shit........

Yesterday was a long ass day! All I wanted to do was crawl in to bed and nap. But it was a beautiful day out and I didn't want pudd'n "stemming" in front of the t.v. So I dragged my sorry ass down to Aunt Selma's. I'm glad I did, the waves were nice and the water warm. In between playing in the surf with pudd'n & the goat, I talked to Lili on the phone and texed Lissie.
Now after another long ass day, I'm ready to nap. But can't, must get house in order for this weekends debauchery. I went to take a look at the new class pudd'n will be in this fall. The teacher is retireing, so he'll get a new one. She sounds qualified and there are no aggressive kids in his class. Big bonus for me. I'm getting "sideways glances" from some of the teacher's aids. It is no secret about what teacher I DIDN'T want my son getting. Eh, fuck 'em!
I'm excited for Sat. Wish you could be here Sandy! This is how the text messageing has beening going between me & Athena.
"Carne Asada, chips, Beer, salsa, Beer, guacamole, rice,Beer, oreos, corn on cob, fruit, Beer........

Below is a photo of my good friend Lissie. It wasn't always that way, when I first met her in highschool, I was ready to kill her. We were both dating the same boy. He was up front about it, and being the stupid teenage girls we were, put up with it. Well when I found out she was in my English class AND my swim class that semester, I was out for blood. I TERRORIZED the shit out of her. She was a size -0 and short back then and I was well.......amazon woman. After a few months, she smarted up and dumped Tim's sorry ass. I on the other hand, got to go his senior prom! After Tim graduated, she and I became really good friends for the rest of our high school years. I was even the maid of honnor at her first wedding. And yes, she knows I posted this photo, I got her permission before posting it. When you got it, flaunt it!

Things that are only funny to you because it's 3 am and you are sleep deprived................
Yep, Pudd'n pulled his 3 am wake up call.......with a vengance. I was in a deep sleep when Pudd'n started to bug me for a cup to drink. Steve was already in the bathroom, so I made him go get it. All the while praying that pudd'n will take a few sips and go back to sleep. No such luck, as steve gets back in bed, he notices that one of our MANY pillows is wet. Pudd'n had started to wet the bed, but thankfully stopped. We made him get up and go potty while we examined the bed to make sure the pee only got on the pillow. Yes, the bed's dry and pudd'n comes back to snuggle. Not 10 min later, I feel a wetness. Sure enough, that little shit didn't empty his bladder when he went in the bathroom. He came back into bed and pissed there. Now, he DEFINITLY was not "sleep walking" or "half asleep" when he did this. Autism or no, this kid purposly pissed in our bed.
So we get up and throw stuff in the washer, put towels down and remake the bed. Pudd'n goes into his room to watch tv. As steve and I are laying there, we hear this funky noise. It's my terrier d.d., she's makeing a gacking type noise, but no puke is coming out. S
Steve: what's that?
me: it's d.d.
steve: is she puking?
me: no, she probably just came in from a midnight snack of dog poop. She must of ate a crusty one and some of it got hung up.
Steve: oh THANKS, now I'll have that visual for the rest of the day.......
This sends us into a fit of laughter. We start to imagine just what could of got caught up. Was it a piece of corn? a penut? really old pop that broke off?
Yeah, sleep deprivation does that to you........

WHOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO PARTAAY TIME THIS WEEKEND!
Yes, you heard it here first folks. The witchies are FINALLY getting together. ALL of us! In the same zip code! We are taking advantage of Aunt Selma's place before escrow closes and fucks up our summer. We'll spend a few hours there and then head back to my place so Athena can drink more beer and wash her dirty chonies. We will bbq, hang out and did I mention that we'll be drinking beer? I can't wait to show everyone how Goat Puppy loves to ride the boogie board. Pudd'n really likes it when I'm in the water with him too. Cheezes the hell out of me, but if it makes him happy. It's worth it. Maybe some day I'll get over my fear of the ocean. I remember last year, the tide was pretty far out, that made it easy. Then some dolphins swam by. Lili took off after them to see if she could swim near them (she used to be olympic swimmer in her youth) But since she smokes waaaaaaaaay too much bud, she didn't make it. They swam off before she got there.
Then there was the time Dru got slammed by a few waves. She came staggering out of the ocean and sat on the blanket. And then, I shit you not, she proceeded to remove AT LEAST 4 inches of sand out of her naughty bits.
Ah yes, good times.

I am very "geeked out" or am I just a geek?
After hand sewing some dream pillows for me & steve, I decided he needed to dig my sewing machine out of the garage. Now I haven't sewn in YEARS. But it is just like riding a bike, a horse or a man. You never forget. I made up a few sleep pillows for Pudd'n with the hopes that it will help him sleep through the night and quit coming into and HOGGING our bed.
He is also at grandma land tonight instead of last night. So I shaved, sugar scrubbed and lotioned the hell outta my body so I can sleep nekkid and enjoy it even more!

How did you get here?
Is there anything you'd want me to write more about? (not like I lead a wild life to begin with)

What a great weekend! Sat Babs joined me down at Aunt Selma's. She saved the day by bringing Pudd'n some french fries, so we stayed a total of 4 hours instead of 2. We just hung out and watched pudd'n & the goat have a blast. On Sunday, Steve joined us and we were there for 3 hours. I've created a couple of monsters........pudd'n & the goat have successfully gotten me out in the water again. Goat puppy rides the boggie board and Pudd'n just loves the fact that we are out there with him. I was whipped last night going in to work. Speaking of work, my cousin Kenny offered me a job at his new place. It's a higher class of clientel (translation, even more snottier and rich people than the ones I wait on now). He's hammering everything out this week, so we'll see.
I got to chat with Lili, her husband C found bags AND bags of crystals. I drooled, she promised to share with me! I have to get the total number of people, but they were expecting at leat 600 people at the funeral. Grandma G touched a lot of lives, literally too. She was a licesned medical massage therapist too amongst the many things she accomplished in her 77 years.

As I am getting things ready for a ritual I want to do at the beach today, I decide to pull a card from my "oracle" deck (I've got about 6 different tarot decks) and the card I pulled was "Blessed Change".
Nice to know my efforts are coming to fruition, the ritual I'm going to do today deals with exactly that........change.

WELL NOW, IMAGINE THAT!...................
Your connection with darkness is because of your
interest in magic. You like spells, herbs,
maybe even voodoo-dolls. You like it very much,
and probably even have books or found
Internet-sites where magic is the topic. You
probably mean no harm with this, well perhaps
to some. Most people who are aware of your
interest mistakes you for a Satan-worshipper.
You're missunderstood, but have your friends.
You probably are a wiccan or something related
and are interested in mother nature, souls and
spirits. You prefer the forrest(or park) before
the city. Remember, all can't always
What is your connection with darkness? (pics)

Had fun last night at work because Bables came in. She sat at the bar because my station was full with a suprize 21st birthday part. Thank Goddess for that party because I sure as hell didn't make any money before they came in! Babs had fun sitting at the bar, our new bartender Lou is really nice. Our singer Lorenzo came over and chatted with her too. Then little miss trouble maker starts buzzing in Pedro's ear about how to "hit" on me. She got him all in a dither. I told him to relax, I don't step out on my husband. I didn't get out of work until 11:40. I was whipped, I'm not used to staying out that late.
I got our dinner cooked first thing this morning. It is suppose to be really hot later on and I sure as heck don't want the oven or the stove on! So, while it's nice & cool, I cooked up some chicken picata and roasted red potatoes with a dijon glaze. Steve is spending the day doing stuff around the house, I'll be at the beach with pudd'n & the goat. Have a good weekend!

So I am going to burn in hell.........I'm ok with that.
Why the title of this post? My good friend Lili just had a death in the family. Her husband's grandma just passed away. I've only met Grandma G once, and that was at the wedding. But the lady made an impression on me that I will not soon forget. Grandma G was a force to be reckoned with. The lady eminated spirtuality that I've never felt before. She was awesome. C (lili's husband) flew out to Ohio for the wake. He called her and updated Lili, Lili called to up date me.
Lili: C called, he's still in shock. Going through the house. He says there is a lot there we would like. Drums for drummin circle, incense, crystals............
Me: Crystals? (now I'm drooling worse than pavlov's dog)
Lili: yeah, an egyptian room and some nice bibles
Me:ok then, C gets the bibles, you get the egyptian stuff......I get the crystals..........
no, seriously! I want the crystals, I'll pay for shipping.
Ugh, I'm such scum! The poor lady is not even buried and I'm acting like a vulture over her stuff.

B: get my nails done and a bottle of whiskey?
If you guessed "B", you guessed right. Since I did not make it to my waitressing job on tues. thanks to my lovely back problems, I did not have enough money for my nails, toes AND a bottle of booze. So my poor toes will have to be nekkid for a while. Chipped red nail polish is a no no.

Well my back is now just a dull ache, I'll take that over the paralyzing pain.
I was feeling pretty good by yesterday afternoon, just in time to pick up Pudd'n from school. It was his half day and it was beautiful and sunny out. So we grabbed the goat puppy and went down to aunt selma's. I did not do a good job with the sunscreen on myself and now I have these red patches on my chest. Pudd'n played in the water for 2 hours straight. Water must be warming up.
Today/night is grandma land. I just discovered something that I haven't been able to do since pudd'n was born. Sleeping nekkid! Since he usually crawls into bed with us in the middle of the night, that has squelched my desire to sleep nekkid. So, now that he's at grammy's two nights a week, I can indulge myself! Whoooooooooo hooooooooo!

Last month was Autism awareness month. You might of seen more news articles or new programs speaking up about this disorder.
Much thanks goes to Sandy's friend Mark, he and 817 other bikers got together to raise money and awareness for this disorder that strikes 1 in every 166 children EVERY DAY.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Mark. It means so much to me that you took time out of your day to do this for parents like me. Some day soon we WILL find a cure and beat this.
On the 22nd of this month, CNN will be featuring a show called "Autism is a word". It was written by a woman with autism. She was non verbal for most of her life. Watch it, you will get an idea of what our lives are like and how Autism affects families.

I'VE FALLEN AND I CAN'T GET UP.............
Well, it is more a long the lines of "I bent over to get the dog's dish, a shooting pain went up my back and I fell to my knees".
And there I stayed until Steve got home. He's thinking he's getting a blow job, I'm ready to cry from the pain. Steve manages to get me up while cracking "old lady" jokes. I take two steps and fall again to my knees. This is NOT good, this is NOT how I envisioned the evening going.
Steve takes me to the Dr., two young 20 something pop tarts walk out. Mr.Smart Ass pipes up with "hey, maybe if I'm telling them I'm helping my mom get out of the car, they will think I'm a sensitive guy and go out on a date with me".
I curse at him in tounges............
The Dr. gives me a shot and is amazed I STILL CAN'T FUCKING MOVE. I get a perscription for my true love Vicodin and some muscle relaxor. I make sure I get a bottle of whiskey to wash it down with. I haven't been in this much pain since Kirby threw my sorry ass two years ago. THAT little episode took a fucking month to get over. Goddam it! This fucking SUCKS.............

HOT DAMN, HE GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!
Steve passed the strength test and starts his new position on June 1st. Halla fucking loooooyaaaaaaaaa!
Had a great weekend between hanging with friends and hanging at Aunt Selma's. Got a nice base tan going, Pudd'n and the goat had loads of fun playing in the water. We also made it to the gem & mineral show again and I picked up a few more goodies. One vendor had the coolest crystal spheres and wands. My whole body vibrated in there and Pudd'n was even calmer. Last night at work, I took an order and went to go put it in. Between the table and the computer, unbeknownest to me my button popped open on my shirt, exposing the "girls" for everyone to see. Ohmee starts blushing and studdering. "Maeve! your shirt!" was all he could sputter out. I looked down and there they were! Fuck! stupid button!

Pudd'n got us up at the ass crack of dawn yesterday, so we got an early start on what we needed to get done. Went to my favorite home improvement store to get things to finish the patio and other assorted never ending things that need to get done. We then headed over to Aunt Selma's. Pudd'n, Goat and I played on the beach while Steve helped his aunt move some stuff to her new place. We then came home and got ready for our bbq. Athena was due to come by to wash her dirty chonies and eat lots of good food. Lili was hoping to make a cameo apperance before her son's basketball game. Both "ladies" (I DEFINITLY use that term loosly with THOSE two) showed up with in 5 min of each other. We crammed a few weeks of catchin up in the span of 20 min. Lili had jewlery that she no longer wanted, I grabbed the bag to peer inside and Athena told me to just dump it on the table. I eyed her, wondering if I could pick out a few things before she took me down. I had some lipstick for Lili, I always get "gift with purchase" and I don't always like the free lipsticks. They usually look better on Lili any way. I don't do pinks or neutrals. Red, red lipstick is the only color for me.
Lili and her men had to leave, so we started cooking our feast. We got Carne Asada, beans, rice, corn on the cob, pineapple, honey dew, corn torts and flour torts. Oh yes, it would not be complete with out gackamole and salsa (the left overs made a WONDERFUL breakfast today).
We pigged out and then vegged out on the patio. I did my usual drunken tarot card reading for Athena, Steve went out on a beer, cookie and chinese food run(Pudd'n was in the mood for chinese).
Athena and I took some fun photos, soon as she sends them to me, I'll post a few. It was a great evening, hell, it's been a great weekend. Steve has been in a wonderful mood knowing that soon he will leave behind his previous position. Life is good right now.

Work sucked hot sweaty balls tonight. I had 5 whole fucking tables. WTF??!! We have a new bartender, nice gal named Lou. Unfortunatly for Teri, she and her husband (our singer on the weekends) are headed for divorce. So she does not want to work in the same vicinity as him.
On a happy note, I made it to the gem & mineral show. Drooled exsessivly over all the pretty crystals. I need to go back and get Pudd'n a nice Charolite pendant. Charolite is suppose to help him emerge from his autism.
Tomorrow we head to Aunt Selma's for some fun on the beach. Steve has to help her move a few things. She got an offer on her house, reality is hitting like a ton of bricks. Soon she will have to leave. It sucks big time. Athena will come by in the afternoon for some bbq, laundry and movies. Hopefully Lili will bring her sweet ass by too. It sucks having them both live so damn far away now!

Had a great time last night. Dru came over for some take out mexican and we hung out on the patio. Steve is in an excellent mood, he will get the new fiber postition at work after he passes the strenght test at work on Monday. Gail my (crack) candle lady & friend called, her appointment had canceled and if I wanted I could come over to smell the new candle scents. By then I had started drinking, so I told her I could not drive over. Steve offered to take us, so we all piled in the short bus and headed on over. A few beers and a boat load of candles later we head on home. I'm pretty ripped by now and Steve notices on the car in front of us a bumper sticker that says "what would Jesus do?". I piped up with "he'd probably want to fuck Mary M. that's what he'd do!"

Last night was slow at work, so I gave Kerry a call to perk things up. I got her machine instead and left a message. 5 min later she calls back, she's a little "toasted" and wants to know if I'll come over. Two new tables had walked in, do I stay and make an extra $20? Or do I go hang out, drink beer and catch up on gossip with a girlfriend?
I grab Steve's lunch and I'm GONE! Had a great time catching up on things and looking at the brochure of the mexican hide a way we'll be going to in July. Kerry's boxer dog Otis sat in my lap most the night. I'd get up to go to the bathroom and that silly dog would even wait for me outside the bathroom door. He's such a crack up. My dogs called me a faithless bitch when I came home. How dare I snuggle up with another dog!

Grab a kleenex........
TO MY CHILD
Just for this morning, I am going to smile when I see your face and laugh when I feel like crying.
Just for this morning, I will let you choose what you want to wear, and smile and say how perfect it is.
Just for this morning, I am going to step over the laundry, and pic k you up and take you to the park to play.
Just for this morning, I will leave the dishes in the sink, and let you teach me how to put that puzzle of yours together.
Just for this afternoon, I will unplug the telephone and keep the computer off, and sit with you in the backyard and blow bubbles..
Just for this afternoon, I will not yell once, not even a tiny grumble when you scream and whine for the ice cream truck, and I will buy you one if he comes by.
Just for this afternoon, I won't worry about what you are going to be when you grow up, or second guess every decision I have made where you are concerned. !
Just for this afternoon, I will let you help me bake cookies, and I won't stand over you trying to fix them.
Just for this afternoon, I will take us to McDonald's and buy us both a Happy Meal so you can have both toys..
Just for this evening, I will hold you in my arms and tell you a story about how you were born and how much I love you.
Just! for this evening, I will let you splash in the tub and not get angry.
Just for this evening, I will let you stay up late while we sit on the porch and count all the stars.
Just for this evening, I will snuggle beside you for hours, and miss my favorite TV shows.
Just for this evening when I run my finger through your hair as you pray, I will simply be grateful that God has given me the greatest gift ever given.
I will think about the mothers and fathers who are searching for their missing children, the mothers and fathers who are visiting their children's graves instead of their bedrooms, and mothers and fathers who are in hospital rooms watching their children suffer senselessly, and screaming inside that they can't handle it anymore.
And when I kiss you good night I will hold you a little tighter, a little longer. It is then, that I will thank God for you, and ask him for nothing, except one more day..............

I've got a case of the blues. Missing my girlfriends blues. Sure we chat on line or on the phone, but it is not the same. I feel some are drifting away and that makes me sad. Am I putting enough effort in to the relationship? Are they? All relationships are two way streets, some times you do get more than you give, but you always seem to connect some how.
Time, do we have enough hours in the day? Or are we just letting friendship slide because family & work suck so much out of us? Or do friends just grow apart? Is there a friendship you wish that you did not let fall by the way side? Do you have any special friends that you've know "forever"? Who do you wish you could meet up with today?

A NICE MOTHER'S DAY.........
I had a nice mother's day yesterday. Nothing fancy, just spent time with my men. We went out and got Speedy a pool to live in. Turns out he is a red eared slider turtle. He is an aquatic turtle, hence running to the toy store to find a kiddie pool. Steve set up a nice little spot for him and fenced it off to keep the goat puppy out of the pool. Speedy seems happier.
I then had to work in the evening, made some good money and bolted at 8:30 so I could go see Kerry. The head chef and manager were sitting at the bar, so I joined them. We had a nice time eating nachos and doing shooters. Steve was still up by the time I got home at 10pm and he up dated me on how my mom is spoiling my son rotten. I know pudd'n has a great time (who wouldn't? foot rubs, he's fed by hand.......) but I still miss him none the less.
So now here I am, Monday morning. Ugh! Is it monday already?

MY HUSBAND ROCKS..............
well at least for the moment he does, that is until he pisses me off and I will think of ways to plot his death.
What did he do pray tell? He ripped off the patio cover, replaced a section of fence and got Pudd'ns swingset/fort all cleaned up. The rain stopped in time for he and our neighbor to get everything done. That man was non stop until everything was done. Now we can have pudd'ns new friend over to play, I can throw fabulous back yard parties with out the embarassment of a mold farm patio cover and the fence will not fall down. Well at least the section between us and Candice. We have to get around to asking the T.j. trash neighbors if they can go in on replacing the one between us.
Tomorrow we are taking Speedy to a reptile store to see if they can tell us what kind of turtle he is and any pointers for him. He is a riot at night. We bring him in to keep him safe and you can hear his little nails as he walks across the floor. You expect to see a dog (I have three of them), but no, it's a turtle crusing around. He's got the prettiest eyes too.
Now that I've got all my herbs in order, I'm itch'n to get my oils in one spot and accounted for too. I just haven't found what I'm looking for to keep them neat. I'm out of room on my altar, so I'm having to put things in my pantry. I'd love to have everything in one spot. I'll have to take a photo of the cool book of shadows my mother got me. It's made of slate and has a nice dragon on the front. I'd prefer a gargoyle, but I'm not going to complain. It's a cool book!

Had a great afternoon. Picked up Pudd'n from school and took him to speech therapy. He's doing really well, before you know it, he'll be saying "goddamn it". Took him to grandma land where he promptly forgot I exsisted and curled up with grandpa to watch t.v. I couldn't even get a "you you" out of him when I left (that is how he says I love you). Stinker!
Got the house all nice & clean and yummy smelling candles lit while Steve worked with the neighbor on replacing a section of our back fence. We rounded up Speedy and brought him in early. Did not need him to fall in to the freshly dug hole filled with cement. We relaxed a bit and I got my herbs cataloged and put into one box. I found I had several mugwarts, a couple of yarrows.....Ugh. Glad I finally took stock of what I had. Nice having everything in order now. Then we headed out to where I work for a little Cinco de Mayo celebration. Nice and low key, just hung out with the loonies I work with and ate delicious food. The cooks & bus boy were tripping over how I looked. No make up and dressed in sweats. It's 8:30 at night, they are lucky I didn't schlep out in my jammies & slippers! That really would of scared the shit outta them.

Ritual last night was a riot! Beltane ritual always is. We were PACKED last night with people. We did not have enough room for all the food that was brought and luckily we had an extra tray. We ran out of room on the first one with all the chalices that were brought. L.D. was impressed with my memory of which chalice belonged to who, when people come up, I hand them to her. They had a big cauldron and it was filled with candles & incense, everyone had a great time jumping the fire. Met a bunch of nice new people, seems our local Christian church has a few parishioners that are open minded enough to enjoy all religions. What a refreshing change that is from some of the people I have had the unfortunate experiance in meeting. In the middle of ritual, my hands began to heat up and tingle, I could feel the energy just flowing from them. When I came home and crawled in to bed, Pudd'n scooted to spoon with me and when I wrapped my arms around him, my hands began to get warm again. I sent the energy into him, nice big healing ball of energy.
I got to call the West qtr last night, I like that one, its by the air conditioning! There was extra incense left over, so they packaged it up and passed it out. As I went to grab one, Wilma said "let me". She then squeezed it in between my clevage. "I've always wanted to do that" she said. I laughed as her boyfriend enviously nodded his head. What was really cute is when Dan, L.D's boyfriend walked me to my car. He's a good foot shorter than me, but wanted to chaperon me, to make sure nothing happened. He even held my elbow. I wanted to laugh, it was so sweet.
It's raining today, of course we had ordered a dumpster so Steve could wreak out the covered patio and a portion of the back fence. I'm looking at Speedy as he's scooting about in the rain. Looks like I'm going to have a big turtle mud ball again.

DO YOU REEEEEEEALLLY WANT TO FUCK WITH ME LADY??
No, I did not think so.............
It is time for my son's I.E.P and Tri annual. For those of you how don't have special needs kids, what is coming up is my son's evaluation. His goals he's met, the new goals and they will tell me mentally where he is at. He is also due to move up to an older class room. I want to move him back down here. I called the school district and got no response. Ok, you want to play that way? I get a hold of the supervisor and the cunt is not any more helpful. She wants to wait until after my son's I.E.P. for me to look at new class rooms. No, no works for me. That will only give me 2 weeks to look at programs and decide. If I don't like the programs, I want to keep him in county. She was not happy with this. Too fucking bad. I have friends in (low) high places that can help me get what I want. Which is the BEST for my son.
My ace in the hole is my WONDERFUL mother in law (I say that with pride). She has connections, she warned the lady that will be helping us.
M.I.L. "well Joanie, my daughter in law can be a bit strong and willful when it comes to her son".
Translation: My daughter in law is a raging BITCH.

IS IT YULE ALREADY????
Today when I came home, not one but TWO packages were waiting for my by the front gate! One was from Sandy's mom, in it was a pluthera of goodies for me & Pudd'n to share. All sorts of cool things to make my soaps & bath products with. Lots of horse & cowboy stickers for Pudd'n to stick up all over the place and on the goat puppy. I may have to snag a few for when I write to my service members.
The second package was from my mom. She had ordered me a darling black sequined tank top to wear at work. A red one is soon to follow.
I also got the most wonderful thank you card from Sandy's mom. She loved the bath goodies I made for her. Her hand writing AND her name are the same as my beloved grandma. Goddamn do I miss her.
So I'm feeling all sorts of warm & fuzzy right now.
Just don't tell Lili or Dru, they may die of shock.......they are used to me having a black, jaded heart.....
