A NICE MOTHER'S DAY.........

I had a nice mother's day yesterday. Nothing fancy, just spent time with my men. We went out and got Speedy a pool to live in. Turns out he is a red eared slider turtle. He is an aquatic turtle, hence running to the toy store to find a kiddie pool. Steve set up a nice little spot for him and fenced it off to keep the goat puppy out of the pool. Speedy seems happier.
I then had to work in the evening, made some good money and bolted at 8:30 so I could go see Kerry. The head chef and manager were sitting at the bar, so I joined them. We had a nice time eating nachos and doing shooters. Steve was still up by the time I got home at 10pm and he up dated me on how my mom is spoiling my son rotten. I know pudd'n has a great time (who wouldn't? foot rubs, he's fed by hand.......) but I still miss him none the less.
So now here I am, Monday morning. Ugh! Is it monday already?
