Where the hell do I begin? I guess I'll start with Thanksgiving and the little Marines. It took 2 hrs to get them, as I pulled up, I could see that they were fresh out of boot camp. Babies, they all looked like babies to me. Kind of killed the fantasy, the slut in me took a back seat and the mommy in me came out. The boys could not get to the van fast enough, hell, ALL of them could not get off that base fast enough. I brought them home and proceeded to get ready. We let them use our phone to call home. One boy was from Texas, the other from Sacramento. One of the boy's moms wanted to talk to me, she was so thankful that her son was spending the holiday with a family (granted, we ARE the Aadams family, but a family non the less). I told her "from one mom to another, I'll take care of your baby for you". The boys cleaned their plates and asked for 2nds. They had been living off of "meals in a pouch" for several weeks. They looked so handsome in their dress uniform. We brought several lint rollers to try and combat the dog hair. We then walked around Laguna for a little bit. They spied some blond beauties and I asked if they wanted me to get their picture with them. Of course they said yes. I took my boots off, walked up to the girls and said "my cousins are here on leave, may they have a photo with you?". They agreed and the boys had BIG smiles on their faces. Then the girls wanted photos taken with the cameras they had. Turns out they were German tourists, dancers......... heh heh heh. I left "the kids" to chat and exchange numbers while I joined steve up on the board walk. We then went to Aunt Selma's for further relaxation & fun. Steve brough some swim trunks and the boys used them. They grabbed boogie boards and Goat Puppy went with them. It was so nice to see them have a good time and be kids for a few hours. I was sad to take them back. A lot of the soliders were given little gifts from various families. Everyone looked happy.
Michigan:
Holy shit, what a GOOD time we had! I kept my promise to Lissie and kept her drunk the entire time. We spent Friday night hanging with the 'rents and we polished off 2 bottles of wine and half a bottle of rum. My parents had their own stuff to drink. We crashed downstairs in the basement. Giggling like school girls. Sat we went up to the mall to do some shopping and then I drove her around to show her how much everything has changed. Spaz came down to hang out while we got ready. I bought another bottle of wine, we drank that and finished the rum. We
got ready and my dad drove us to "the prom". It is hard to look graceful getting in & out of a disel truck in high heels. We immidetly ran into a friend that was part of our little group in highschool. The party was a lot of fun. The food was good and the booze was free. I got to know the bartender REAAAAAAAAAL well.
Sunday we spent visiting other friends & family. We ended up at Spaz's house for more debauchary. We did some bar hopping and then ended up at a sex toy shop. Lissie did not have a vibrator and we wanted to make sure she got a good one.
Spent our last day at Evil Auntie's house. She had dinner and more wine waiting for us. Getting out of Mich. was not as easy. There was techical difficulties for my plane, it did not leave on time and I missed my connecting flight. They were able to find me a straight through flight, but I had to wait 3 1/2 fucking hours for it!!!!! Oh, and I would not get my luggage either until today. Fuckers. So I sat in the bar, drank and read my book. I was pretty fried by the time I got off of the plane. Steve, being the good husband he is, had a bag of ice, diet cokes and some whiskey waiting in the car. He knew I'd be a big ball of bitchieness, so he wanted to liqour me up soon as possible.
There are so many funny moments that happened on my trip. I'm sure I'll remember them more when I get my photos developed. One such funny memory is when Lissie, Spaz and I walked out to Spaz's car. She brought us an extra blanket to sleep with. Well, the dork forgot her keys in the house and went running back up the drive way to get them. Now mind you, she's got 4 inch stilletos on and she's had a few to drink. Lissie takes one look at spaz running and yells "Run Forrest Run!". I thought I was going to piss my pants.
Well, I need to unpack and do a shit load of laundry. The fun never ends!
